Since launching in 2009, UK-based WED2B established itself as one of Europe’s leading bridal designer outlets. In 2025 they have 59 stores across the UK, Ireland, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany. Their goal is to provide brides with the exceptional customer experience of traditional bridal boutiques, but at more affordable price points.

Tech stack

Like many of our customers, WED2B had been using Microsoft Dynamics NAV for many years. As their business expanded, they planned an upgrade to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to better support their growing operations. With over 50 physical stores and a strong ecommerce presence, they also implemented LS Retail to manage their retail operations. Initially, WED2B considered using the standard LS Retail - Magento connector but soon realized they required a more robust integration to meet their specific needs. This led them to partner with NVision.

The complete tech stack includes:

  • Five Business Central (BC) instances:
    Each instance runs LS Retail and Commerce 365 for Magento, providing seamless integration between retail and ecommerce operations.
  • A central Magento instance:
    A single Magento instance supports five country-specific Magento stores.
  • Master data system:
    The UK BC instance acts as the master data system, leveraging the Commerce 365 for Magento PIM module to manage and maintain all product data, including variations for each country-specific store.
  • Localized operations:
    Each country-specific BC instance handles order fulfillment and stock updates for its respective online store.
  • LS Retail: Integrated with Business Central to manage in-store operations across 50+ locations.
  • NVision's Commerce 365 for Magento: Provides advanced ecommerce functionality, a PIM module for centralized product management, and seamless integration with Magento.
  • Custom API and event integrations: Leveraging NVision’s standard APIs and events to support advanced Magento features and custom workflows.

This setup ensures efficient operations, multi-store management, and a smooth integration between Business Central and Magento.

Smooth project execution 

The implementation process with NVision stood out for its efficiency and reliability. NVision really felt like the smoothest part of the project. Even with last-minute requests, Erik and Tys listened to our needs and delivered. Despite the usual challenges of large-scale projects, support from NVision ensured quick resolutions.

The user interface of Commerce 365 for Magento made a significant impact on our workflow. The UI is great—so much more user-friendly compared to other solutions we’ve used, which were rather clunky. This intuitive design translated into major efficiency gains. We don’t need to constantly go back to our developer to simply add a product attribute. Now, we can make updates ourselves, which is a godsend because we have so many projects in Magento that we’d like to launch. Whether it’s creating new categories or adjusting details on simple products.
